Jane Kelly

Lead Designer, Bristol Design Group

The daughter of a builder, Jane Kelly was introduced to power tools at a very young age. When she was just 7 years old, Jane chose her tree house for the site of the first kitchen she ever designed and built (with a little help from her dad), and she’s been hooked ever since.

Born in Ireland, Jane holds a degree in interior architecture from The Dublin Institute of Technology in Dublin and has been actively designing kitchens and baths for nearly 20 years.

Since 2014, Jane has served as lead designer at Bristol Design Group, a national cabinetry company serving the multifamily industry. In this role, she collaborates with developers to create kitchens and baths for their buildings that align with their vision as well as their budget.

Prior to joining Bristol, Jane spent 10 years at Airoom as a kitchen and bath architect. Previously, she worked at Smartrooms, a high-end design firm located in Chicago’s iconic Merchandise Mart.

Highly respected in the industry, Jane has been sought out as a partner by major brands and manufacturers. In 2012, she was chosen as one of 22 top designers in the country to consult with Cambria Stone Company, sharing emerging trends and providing feedback on anticipated designs for the quartz industry. She was also selected by Sub-Zero/Wolf to produce a video highlighting the products she chooses for her clients. In 2016, Jane partnered with Finsa, a brand of thermal-fused laminate (TFL) from Portugal, to launch her own collection, which was showcased at Green Build and the New York Boutique Show that year. Her expertise is also sought out by publications such as Surface & Panel magazine, for which she has served on panels discussing TFL and its growing popularity in kitchen and bath design.

Jane credits her success in the field to staying immersed in the world of design and her ability to listen to her clients and understand their needs – all while making sure every detail is addressed.

An ongoing commitment to design has earned Jane “Best of Houzz” awards annually between 2013 and 2017; a Houzz Influencer badge in 2016; and NARI CotY awards for both kitchen and bathroom design in 2012.

Her work has been published in Trends magazine, Chicago Home & Garden, Luxe Interiors and others. Additionally, she was interviewed by Lou Manfredini for his “House Smarts” TV program in 2014.

Randy Langer

Founder, Bristol Design Group

Randall (Randy) Langer founded Chicago-based Bristol Design Group in 2014 to serve developers, contractors and architects as a trusted purveyor of cabinetry solutions for the multifamily and hospitality industries. His inspiration to start the company stemmed from the 25 years he spent working in his family-owned real estate acquisition, rehabilitation and management company, HA Langer & Associates, which has renovated more than 8,000 units in the Midwest.

While at HA Langer, Randy worked with both the State of Illinois and other developers to secure a national historic district designation for the Sheridan Park neighborhood. Randy subsequently led the development of more than two dozen multifamily properties in the district. In addition, he oversaw the restoration and development of more than 2,600 apartments in the Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Uptown and Rogers Park neighborhoods, and created a public-private partnership with the Chicago Transit Authority to develop several retail locations at train stations. He also led the development of more than 42 retail build-to-suits for Walgreens, CVS, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Advance Auto Parts and Aldi, among others.

Since the launch of Bristol Design Group, Randy has dedicated himself to globally sourcing cabinetry products that provide value to large-scale developments by reducing costs and improving quality with new materials and enhanced technologies. This dedication to sourcing the best possible products at the most competitive prices has made it possible for Randy to offer his clients high-quality cabinetry from Europe, China and the United States while staying within established project budgets.

In early 2018, Bristol formed Superb Surfaces and Design, a stone countertop company that complements the cabinetry offerings the company already provides. Superb Surfaces and Design is located in a state-of-the-art facility in Elk Grove Village, Ill.

Randy is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Lincoln Park Builders of Chicago and leads Global Business Ventures, a Chicago-based consortium pursuing ground-up developments that align with the Saudi Vision 2030 plan.

Randy earned his undergraduate business degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Ill.
