I love seeing color used in unexpected ways throughout the home, especially in kitchens and baths; it doesn’t have to be limited to walls, either. Colored cabinets continue to be a popular option. In fact, I believe that as Gen Z begins to move out into their own homes, they’re going to crave color palettes much like those found in the houses their parents grew up in. No, I don’t think they will opt for harvest gold and avocado, but I do think they will move beyond the shades of gray and other neutrals found in their own childhood homes.
